Damla Türkoğlu International Business Development
Damla was born in 1995 in Izmir. She was 6 years old when she, and her family moved to Germany. She came back to Turkey for her college education and graduated from the department German-English Translation and Interpreting from Dokuz Eylul University.
While in college she took part in numerous fair exhibitions as translator and interpreter.
She underwent a simultaneous interpreting program at college and contributed as a consecutive translator to several conferences organized by Dokuz Eylul University Graduate School of Social Sciences. She obtained her teaching license while she was still at college and started working as a-part time English teacher at language schools. Inspired by her teachers she developed an admiration for German literature and translated works from Stephan Zweig and Franz Kafka from German into Turkish that were published by Kırmızı Kedi Kitabevi. As a senior student she performed an Erasmus Internship for a fashion designer in Germany and gained an understanding of import and export procedures. After graduating from college she has worked as an export specialist in the industry of feed machinery and turnkey factories for a year. In 2019 she decided to travel to the U.S. for six months. When she came back to Turkey she had developed a strong interest for digital marketing strategies thus started working for AdresGezgini to increase her knowledge and to specialise in this area. Amongst others her hobbies are ice-skating and skiing. Her dream is to add Australia to places she has visited.
